Dinner & Drinks...what to do?!?!?!

My best friends birthday is on Wednesday. We are supposed to go out for dinner and drinks. There are two places she wants to go-either fondue or Italian. Neither ranks real high on the healthy scale. And then there's the drinks w/ others after dinner. I would love to say that I just won't drink, but I know I'll have at least one. So here's what I need: what in the hell can I eat/drink?
 
my recommendation would be to get a dish that has some protein in it (meat, chicken, fish), every restaurant have them... as for drinks, you can ask for non-alcohol drink with low to no sugar.

are you in a special diet (ie., competition diet)? if so, then stick to your diet.

If not... Do you have any cheat day in your diet? because then you could sweep the days of your cheat meals. It is ok to have a cheat day every once in a while...

And make it something you wouldn't normally have & eat it slowly & savor it!
 
Like the girls said, there's no reason you can't have 1 reward meal a week without feeling guilty if your diet is tight, and you aren't about to compete.
