a question
when i post on a thread, instead of taking me to the main forum, it takes me to the bottom of the thread i posted in
anyway can i change this?

PM an admin and I'm sure you'll get a quicker answer bro :)

Mine used to go back to the forum, now its teh end of the post. i sorta like it because its a quick refresh and it also shows any posts that happened between the time i started my reply and when I posted it.

I've heard this complaint from others, but have never experienced it myself. Possibly something to do with the settings?

Logician would probably be the guy to ask.

When you use advanced reply interface (which opens when you click POST REPLY button), after your answer you'll be taken back to forum list. This was default reply behaviour of EF since years.

However if you use quick reply, you'll stay on the thread page with your reply added. In the past it was also taking you to forum list but in the new site this uses "AJAX" technology so page is not refreshed so you stay in the thread and able to read what you've added.

IMO it is a good thing you have an option now so you can select the reply type according to where you end up in the end. ;)
