Digital Voice recorder for school?

Due to my horrible memory and really wanting to do good once my radiology tech program starts in a few weeks, I was considering such a device. Does anyone have any recommendations on such a thing? I want to be able to upload the audio to my computer also.

check with your school. not every employee (teachers) likes to be recorded at work. union rules and such.

i remember seeing others with those, i cant phatom listening to a lecture twice, also if its any sort of science /math class they are gunna be using a chalkboard so your screwed. a local book store would pay the /smart/ students to take detailed notes then would copy sell them to others.
