Digital Divide curiosity.

I am firmly in the grasp of technology. Know what my favorite pastimes are now? I play this game: www.daoc.com while streaming music from this station www.protonradio.com. I get all my news and info from my PC. Heck, my roomate does 30% of his shopping online. Both of us have online classes and get all sorts of music and movies online. I even inroduced this technophobe to *gasp* online gaming. I told him a pc and hi speed connection would change his life, it did.
How has technology, the internet especially, affected your life?

As a graphic designer, the internet has been a gold-mine of working. When I first started, I expected to be doing direct mailers, magazine layout, etc.. but now its a whole new ballgame.

The only downside is that because the technology is so readily available, everyone who owns Photoshop proclaims themself a graphic designer. I guess its how photographers must have felt once point-and-shoot cameras were first released to the general public.
