i'll give you a tip that a friend once gave me when i was looking:
- know what features you're looking for and then read reviews of the different cams at amazon.com
- go to pricewatch.com and check out the cheapest price on the cam you think you want and order from there.
p.s. my cam is little - it's a fuji finepix 40i and goes up to 4+ megapixels... that is so i can get great prints. if you are doing webwork you won't need such high resolution... and the cost goes down. the finepix doesn't work well in low light i should add, if that's critical for you. otherwise, i LOVE it.

I have always used Cnet to get reviews and find the cheapest prices online. It has reviews and prices for just about all electronics.

i looked it up on amazon.com
it's worth 600US
it looks like basically the same camera (in terms of what it can do) as mine except i think it's newer. they're priced basically the same though. i just learned that my cam is only 2.4 megapixels.. lol
you'll get great prints from it.
to get the usb cable... it's specific for the cam.. try fujifilm.com. you also need a program for the pics to upload to.
buy lots of rechargeable batteries and take pics w/the viewfinder as much as possible because otherwise you'll go through batteries fast. buy a charger and batteries anywhere. mine is energizer.

I'M ON FUJIFILM RIGHT NOW LOOKING IT UP. ITS SAYS 500$ ON THERE BUT I GUESS EACH SITE/STORE IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT.
I'M GONNA ORDER THE CHARGER AND CABLES FOR IT. CANT BEAT THAT, A 500$ CAMERA FOR THE PRICE OF THE CABLES AND CHARGER. AND MAYBE AN EXTRA BATTERY.
AND THE BAD PART ABOUT IT IS, I DIDNT EVEN WANT TO TAKE IT. ME AND THIS GIRL I KNOW WERE SITTING ON A COUCH IN THE CLUB. WE SAW THE CAMERA AND ASSUMED IT FELL OUT OF THE POCKET OF THE GUY WHO WAS SITTING NEXT TO US. SOME MONEY WAS ON THE COUCH AS WELL. WE PUT THE CAMERA AND MONEY IN FRONT OF US ON THE TABLE FOR THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE SITTING THERE WHICH WAS A GOOD WHILE. HE NVR CAME BACK AND IT WAS TIME FOR ME AND MY FEMALE FRIEND TO LEAVE. I KIND OF FEEL BAD. LOL
