Digital Camera Help

I'm looking for a new digital camera for work and hobby.

I would like an SLR digital camera and I need to have the equivalent to a 28mm + in a 35mm camera for my interior shoots.

Any suggestions, thoughts?


I'm drooling over the Minolta DiMAGE 7 but I am a bit out of the buyers loop as it were...

if these images are for print... then go for a 2.1 megapixel cam if the pics are no bigger than 8.5x11"

go for higher if you are printing larger pics...

i have a fuji finepix 40i that is good but its downsides are: bad in low light, and eats batteries... so buy rechargeable batteries.. like, a few.

but they all eat batteries unless you get a lithium battery one.. a few rechargeable should do though.

my cam is good for colour accuracy... kodak is as well. my cam is also small like an elph.. or however that little cam is spelled.

anyway, if you wanna check out reviews go to amazon.com and read reviews.. then pricewatch.com for the best price on that cam.

The Minolta is a super camera. I looked at the Dimage 5 and didn't get it. I am kicking myself for not getting it.
