many times you make great posts, but they are on locked threads, and that leaves us no way with which to reply except by starting a new thread such as this.
Anyway, I like your assesment of the Sublime/curling threads. Sublime's was a parody and it did a great job at showing just how stupid the first example was.
It wasn't meant to be intentionally blasphemous, and what we saw was a mod who got personally offended and used his super user status on the board to take action. Not the first time, not the last time, but you dismiss it as old news.. yet guess what, it leaves a bad taste in a member's mouth. maybe you don't care, I'd guess you don't, but seeing as you are even handed and fairly fair (boy that sounds funny) I thought you might notice a pattern here... similar type thing happened with another member, a platinum member was banned or coventry or whatever over a karma mix up and the mod took it in his own hands to act first and ask questions.. later? never? who knows. Not the first time, not the second time even.. how many strikes does one get?
