Different types of training

I'm thinking of trying some new routines out. I'm a very to the basics guy who has always been lifting 10 x 3 reps, or higher sets with lower reps. And more recently Ive had bursts of three or four sets of 13 or so.


What some methods you guys are into? I really need to shock my body.

Please .. a little about resistance training. or Hi-Intensity training.

I really want to be hard. I am really lean and in the beginning of a fina/prop cycle.
