dietplaning during cycle, what do u do?

im doing this thread in hear beacause....yeah its a little difference between bulk on a cycle compare to when your building natural. so i would like some suggestions and thoughts of how u plan your diet on cycle.

im planing to go up my cal every week 250 cals, not planing to up it any more beacause i dont think u haveto eat more over your need than that.

what do u think about , dietwise during cycle, u have to go a bit on the feeling, dont u?

as far as the types of foods i think the basic clean diet should be the same for natural versus "enhanced". u may add alot more cheat meals or increase cals significantly while on cycle (if u r trying to put on some mass).

from your first statement it sounds like u want 2 bulk up. but only 250 cals a week extra isnt enuf if u r trying to bulk up. that is only and extra 35 cals a day. u could get that from eating adding some ketchup to your hamburger.

it definitely is a very individual plan as your metabolism is different than mine as may be your body type, etc. i use the mirror, calipers, and tape measure as the best judge of how well the diet is working.

but i mean...u train hard and make good gains every week but still between 10-12 in bf...thats a better planing, than over the next 12 weeks going from 11-17 in bf right?

the more u eat doesnt necessary have to a bigger chance to gain more muscle if i already is 300-500 cals over my need, yes?

i agree that u dont want 2 blow up 2 quick and add 5-7% of bodyfat and have 2 try and lose a boat load of weight when u r done.

think about how many calories u need to put on a lb of weight (muscle or fat) and compare that with your 300-500 cals over your need every week. how long will it take u to gain that weight (ignoring other variables for the time being)?

im planing to gain no more than maybe 15-17 lbs over the next 12 weeks....
is it possible just to count out the calories in 17 lbs then split it out over 12 weeks...can it be that easy?

i wish it were. as u gain more muscle the more calories u will need to support it and the more u will need to gain more.

i was just merely pointing out why 300-500 wasnt going to cut it. we need to find u a good starting point and use the mirror & tape measure as your guide on when you will make caloric adjustments and whether it needs to be up or down.

so what can be a good starting point, talking about how much % over the cal need u may need to add every week.
off course making changes if it needs to but i have no ideea how much it can vary comparing to a natural gain.

What works for me is to keep running totals for the day in your head.

I can usually be close to 100 gms of protein by lunchtime...

Use Fitday to get an idea on what your getting:Fitday Link

Eating properly is a hard job, but if your informed it becomes easier.

well u could first do a google search or go plat here and do an advanced search for BMR calculator (especially one that takes into account your normal daily activity level). tat had a great post about BMR.

come back with that info and we will proceed.

well, i just did one and it counted out to be 2520 cals a day, to maintain.
didnt quite understand the bmr calculators...inches, feet...i dont know what afeet is in centimeters.
is it possible to go from there?
