diet question..fructose.

is fructose good for carbs after workout?i want to mix this is with the shake i drink after i workout please help me out mr. x thanks!
 
umm.......

its a low GI sugar which means it will be absorbed slowly. it also is said to replace liver glycogen, as opposed to muscle glycogen, and then once its topped up the liver any extra is used for fat and stuff.

so like gymtime said, something else, like that stuff or glucose, anything with a high GI is ok, as u wanna get that sugar to you muscles etc

FRUCTOSE=EVIL is a better correlation

First, it's a low-gi carb, so that's a minus PW;now, fructose is 4x more likely to be stored in the liver, thus, it's not beneficial for muscle anabolism PW.

any simple sugar except fructose !

dextrose (glucose), sucrose (saccharose) or malto (complex but high GI) are far better for post workout
