Diet help??

Right now Ipretty much just count my protein, everything else is kinda guesstimated, just make sure to eat right other than that, mostly quality food, but everyone cheats, im easing into a weight loss diet now from a bulking diet, i wanted to know if i should jump right into it, or ease into itim goin from like 4000 calories a day to say 1800, any suggestions about those numbers or any other advise would be greatly appreciated, thanx bros,

i dont know about everyone else, but if i personally jumped my diet from 4000 cals to around 1800 cals, i would probably have a hard time with it... just because that may be a hefty shock to your system... i know also going from that big of a difference in diets, you would deff lose a lot of weight... but not just fat... personally i would ease into it by steadily decreasing the calories by the week... that way your body wont know the difference as much as if you just jumped right into it...
 
multiply your bodyweight by 12, that will be your total caloric intake
60%pr
25%crb
15%fats

you can just switch over from 4000cals to you new caloric intake, although reducing your calories by 500cals every 4-5 days will make transition much smoother.
 
This idea worked for me last time for keepin muscle, actually gaining muscle and losing fat, real weird cuz my calories were so low, I'm just look for what you guys think about it..... do you think i will lose muscle if i do it again, especially since i just completed my cycle or do you think it will work again?
