Diet Coke/Diet Pepsi

Negative while cutting. I try to stay away from All carbonated or whatever drink you want to call them. I like water and maybe some tea from subway. That shits good.

I prefer Diet Coke myself..........just kidding. Keep it to a minimum, anything carbonated takes away calcium. If you drink a six pack a day then it may be a prob. But otherwise should'nt be a big deal......Arias

Well for one. I believe drink like that "cut your wind" If i drink one i feel like im out of breath while working out. I know they are zero carb but i cant make myself believe it. That shit is nasty?

Now here is a real question. How come when you open Dasani water it make the sound of a carbonated drink?

i think its from the pressure in the bottle being released...

i never tried drinking a carbonated beverage before a workout, but i do occasionally drink some during the day.

Drink all you want

I drink two diet cokes per day along with two or three cups of coffee with equal as sugar substitute. I also drink at least 4 litres of water during the day.....yes...I piss a lot, but we all know the thermogenic effects of caffeine, and even though coffee and coke are slightly diuretic, you will still benefit from the liquid.

One potential problem is kidney stones. I have sedentary friends who have developed them and were told to avoid all coke, coffee, etc. I don't know if this can contribute or not, but if you have had them, stones, before, I would ask a dr.

I can't give a definate name of the ingredient found in coke in which i am refering to, but there is one not known by many to have a great effect on fat loss. I will post more when I find the liturature in which I found this information. The answer to your ? is yes, definatly diet Coke durring cutting phase of training. Diet Pepsi on the other hand I have found nothing about.

I find that any type of a carbonated drink blows my stomach out for about a day. Drink water, best stuff for you - add a lemon if u need that little bit of flavor.

Diet Coke is a diuretic. If you are looking to drop some water, drink a case a day. Otherwise it is not good if taking stuff that is toxic.

Carbonated drinks also lower blood oxygen levels, at least that what all my coaches tell me as to why you feel winded, steer clear anyway, if you need a taste or something lemon in your water and if you need something more that bad, go with a powerade or something, just drink it early in the day or post workout, just my 2cc's
