Diet and alcohol

I know this has been talked about many times. Alcohol and Dieting don't mix. When cutting this is true, but what about when bulking? Does it matter that much? I know it is not healthy no matter what your lifestyle and is not good even for muscle gains, but how does it affect a person exactly? Just pondering this cuz i am bulking right now and the first is coming up and i want to get hammered. I never drink except on big special occasions like this one. I know if i get drunk this won't set me back very much, but want to know for future reference when i do decide to go out and party. thanx

after your first drink your testosterone responce is going to plumit by about 40%. You can see the effects of that...longer recovery, decreased metabolism, etc. so when you drink discount any workout you have that day or the next. BUt if you have a protein shake and slam some vitamens before bed you can help counter the affects of drinking. SO live it up, one night wont kill all your hard work.

testosterone will plumit 40%. Ok, well must test levels be high at all times? i don't know the affects it has, but maybe by dropping it low for a certain period of time, to 40% when it goes back to normal it may have a better affect on muscle growth? that sounds very wacky but hey i tend to look at things from all angles, even if it is a rediculous one. hahahah

I think getting drunk, or drinking in general will set you back. It not healthy and can be dangerous. Dieting and alcohol don't mix, but I guess you have your mind made up from what I read...so it's all up to you.
