diesel is out!!!!!!

baldbull

New member
diesel cloths are out. when you see everyone wearing it, it means its out. i'm talking everything from sneaks to a hat.

they are still hot i think. AX is a lot more played out and that has no signs of fading away.

right now fashion is real casual, i don't think there is anywhere else to turn. if its not diesel its a pair that is trying to look like them

AX new line of gear is garbage. Even a lot of diesel girl is getting kind of gay. Go to short hills mall in NJ b/c they opened a store. Most of clothes are greens and pink with an occasional rare find. I still like diesel, but the less flashy shit. I remember when I use to were diesel and people thought I was trying to say something b/c of my muscles, now that it is "mainstream" kind of looking for something new.

when short hills mall opens up a store & you have preps now wearing diesel. you know its to mainstream. when there was just the store on lexington in the city diesel was hot. i remember people use to ask me if it meant i was selling heroin(diesel). lol. i'm a little older so i have extra money to shop. i'm big in to hugo now. they have phat clam diggers , draw string pants, jeans & slacks. also i find that ambercrombie has some great finds in the pants department. alot draw string & cargos. always at versace in short hills in the beginning of july they put all summer cloths on sale. i got some sick sleeveless ribbed & unribbed shirts for $60 a piece. also go to century 21 in morristown alot of d&g,wilke rodriguez & bcbg. its all about getting your own style. theres nothing better then going away & bringing home some cloths you know no-one will ever have. i went to europe & brought home yellow trusardi slacks & burberry clam diggers. i get mad props when i wore the burberry memorial day at surf & temps. around here its all about followers so get a new shirt if you like it doesent matter it may be different because in a month or so you will see everyone wearing it. GET IT FIRST!

You are on the money with this one baldbull. Only problem I find w/versace, hugo etc is that they are cut for skinny people. Not really athletic cut. Hard to find nice original clothes that fit properly. I don't like the shirts too tight. I am 27 and it appears that when I dress more classy and less tight fitted clothes more women are attracted. Its almost like I know what I got so I don't need to flaunt it...you feeling me.

I never thought Diesel were in. I always shop for 'underground' labels which look good and don't cost the earth due to being a 'known' name. Syke, Redsand etc.

well cut and classy is the way to go, most definitely!!! :)

guys, you should hit up Zara. They have some great stuff for men.

have to agree with the bull, diesel is definately getting played out.. both diesel and ax seem to be part of the standard uniform for the jersey shore. for cool clubbing pants tru BEAU GOOSE on 8th street in manhattan. for clean cut, trendy look try THEORY.

Diesel will never be out as long as people like to wear jeans. If you live in New York for funky clothes try Bang Bang on 8th street.

Bang Bang is cheesy, shiny, cheap-ass shit for 90% of the 'shit' that they sell. I ahve bought one or two things there 'for fun' ($20 - $25 shirt or something). Zara is cool and different. H&M is also cool, but much of their stuff (pants-wise) are cut for the slender European build. I cannot wear any of their pants period.

A/X is cool. They still have great pants (I cannot fit 75% of their poant though either) even thought they've fallen down in other areas the last two years or so. Labels have ALWAYS been out in my book. Unless you are wearing College/Pro sweats to the gym or wearing a Tommy or A/X tank top bummin' around, labels are a joke. Ooohhhh A/X with the big, fat 12" sqaure label on the t-shirt! Like anyone can afford a $35 - $40 t-shirt. A/X still has cool shit; you just have to be super selective. I think that out of their last three collections I only got two shirts and two pairs of pants. DKNY anymore is getting like A/X; real hard to find cool, different stuff. Franch Connection has some, nice simple stuff too lately.

Deisel is Abercrombie with a little more/different style and it's three times the price. FYI - if you are thinking that you are sporting Italian by wearing Diesel then you are sadly mistaken. Diesel makes, sells and markets a COMPLETELY different line of clothes the US market then they do for Europe. Last year while I was in Italy, bowling style shoes were worn by everyone while hardly anyone back here wore them.

i buy my stuff at target, i get lots of 100% cotton tshirts and cotton pants to go with it, a multi pack of hanes socks and underwear and i'm good for the year

see this is the problem: Stud Muffin buys diesel top, makes it look good, Shmuck copies him, butchers it and it dies...

the Diesel shit is nicer this fall than I've seen it in a long long time... just the brand is getting worn out.

Good news though for Diesel lovers, Carl Laggerhfeld (spelled that all wrong) is going to let Diesel design and manifacture his "jeans" line.

man, people still wear diesel these days?? haven't touched diesle since late 90's... i'm starting to see evisu and denime jeans getting played as well. oh well, i'm going back to circa 83 jordache, members only jacket, and a thin tie, lol.
