Mail fraud is a Federal Offense? I spoke to a Postal Inspector this morning, and if a person advertises to sell an item, then you send payment, then they never ship your item, you can file FEDERAL CHARGES on the person who cashes your MONEY ORDER or CHECK. Now if you sent cash you got screwed. I asked him so what if it was $325 or $.50 and he said Mail Fraud for $.50 is a Federal Crime the same as $325.

What dumbass would use a money order to scam?

I got this email from a dude selling a watch, so I emailed him back and agreed to buy with a MO. I sent the MO, but he never shipped my watch. I have MO receipt, Stub, and emails...guess who is about to get a knock on the door?

Good Point Rick. All my buddy wanted was a lowsy watch. A good little watch, he sent the MO, and now the cat says he doesn't have the watch (his pal lost the watch). He actually said he doesn't want to talk about this anymore? He cashed the money order and now he doesn't want to talk about my watch. lol
