like you were a teenager all over again? Today, I got an e-mail from my mother wanting to know when I talked my way out of a ticket with this state trooper. I have no clue how she even found out about it. It's been months and it wasn't anything that I felt I honestly needed to declare with my mother. She just has this ability to make me feel younger. lol. Anyone else's parents do this at times?

It's usually my ex-gf that tries to make me feel 12. The trooper probably showed up at your house ready for that hot date you promised him in exchange for dropping the ticket.

You'll understand one day when you have kids of your own. They never grow up and they never quit being your babies.

It is frustrating though. I'm 42 and my mom still does that.

Oh I'm definitely the baby all right. She's getting better about it though. A lot.

And dang it, I told him not to show up at the house. We have to meet secretly damn it.

lol, one example is, if I ever go anywhere wearing a coat, my mum informs me to not lose it.....lmao, I must have lost a coat about 15 years ago and she still thinks I am a dangerous coat losing kid

Mom still tries to tell me that I better "bundle up" all the time. I was wearing a pair of flip flops Saturday when I came home, and she told me I would catch a cold. lol.
