Did my own first injection (Sustanon)...

I had my first shot on Friday, did it myself.

Gathered everything together:

23 guage 1.25" needles
2ml syringes.
Cotton Swabs
Alcohol Swabs
Cell Phone (in case of emergency)
Baby-wipes, towel
& 1 ampule of Sustanon 250 by Organon.

I scrubbed up, turned all spotlights in my bedroom to where my butt was in front of the mirror, took a deep breath, made sure my cell phone was working...

Used a pen cap to break the ampule, first time doing that and it was easy.

Put the needle in and it took forever to get the oil into the syringe. I seemed to get a lot of air in as well. Spent 5 mins flicking it and pumping it. Got happy with it, but lost a bit of oil back out of the pin. It ran down the needle and I thought that it might help to lube it.

Gave myself a look in the eye and then held the syringe like a dart, touched it gently to my upper glute. I suddenly didn't want to do it. Then I ran through my mind how I'd planned this cycle and the timing for months (hell, years) and then I pictured myself packing all the stuff away and throwing out the syring full of Sustanon. I couldn't do that so I just pushed the needle a bit haarder and it went in like butter.

The plunger was really hard to push down but I was not in a rush, and I was expecting that, so I just slowly kept pushing until I was nearly done.

THEN I REMEMBERED that in my shocked state I had forgotten to aspirate!

I realised that I'd already done 80% of the ml so after a minutes deliberation stood there naked with the pin in by ass I decide to carry on. It didn't hurt one bit all the way through, not even when I pulled it out.

I but the syringe in an oversized beer can (I haven't had a drink in weeks). and swabbed the tiny red dot on my glute. I felt fine - not sore or wierd or anything. I packed up and had some beef and rice and just chilled out after that.

When I woke up the next day my ass was quite sore. It got really sore and the next evening it felt a bit like I'd imagine what it feels like to be kicked by a horse.

Its now Monday morning (and I did the shot on Friday) and it's still quite sore (but not as bad as Saturday). Is this a normal experience?

Can I do anything to make my butt hurn less next time (I'm doing 6 shots, one every 6 days)?

Can anyone advise me on how to get the oil cleanly into the syringe?

The test prop in sust makes the injections a little painful. For me it's worse in the quad than in the glute. Some advise a heating pad and massage after an injection.

Regarding loading the syringe with oil; it's just slow. You may try a lower gauge pin (18) for loading, then switch to a 23 or 25 for injecting. Also, if you let the syringe sit for about 5 minutes after loading, the air bubbles will come to the top by themselves.

I had my first injection 2weeks ago (had 2 so far) also sust250 ,had my shot at around 2 pm it felt fine all day untill the next morning ,when i sat on the bog to take a shit then i felt it it felt like a cross between a bruise and stinging nettles it only lasts for a day, i used a 19g1.5 to draw and a 1inch 23g to ingect into my arse cheek (IT WAS THE BIGGEST 1 INCH IVE EVER SEEN) I just put some bog roll round the end of the amp and snapped it .
btw i must have aspirated 3-4times before i injected it just made a vacume and pulled the plunger back down ,the second time I got a little worryed because i pulled a little air bubble out so i took the pin out got the air bubble out and tryed again this time no problem

Three words for you bro...massage, massage and uhm...massage. Work the oil in after injecting and you will decrease the soreness by a good bit. A deep tissue type massage with your finger tips will move it around and stop it from lumping up. Good job, ALWAYS ASPIRATE! Welcome to my world!

HEY! congradulations...you popped your cherry. i remember my first shot like it was yesturday. you know, i still get soar from injections but it's a good soar. well anyway, good luck with your cycle. it seems a little short but i'd love to hear of your results. post 'em when your done.

This may sound stupid. But sometimes I do lunges or squats right after injecting. Seems to work for me!

I massage the glute for 5 minutes after injecting, and then I do a few squats. Still hurts for a few days. I'm going to inject it in my quad next time.

Cheers guys, I've also just read that heating the amp in nearly boiling hot water wl make the oil less viscous. Here's the full cycle:

Weeks 1 - 7 DBol 25mg/day

Weeks 2 - 7 Sust 250 week

Weeks 6 - 10 Proviron 25mg/day

Weeks 8 - 11 Tamoxifen 20/day

I'm 6'0" 220 @ 15%bf going into the cycle.

First of all congrats on doing your own poking. You are sore as i was after i first shot up and i did Omnadren250 and shot up on Friday just to still be sore on Monday. Its ok you will get used to it and will love it from now on.

But i still think its easier shooting up in quads as i cant really turn around to see what im doing to my ass.

Right on man props for doing the deed! Yeah dispite the roids I've done in the past my biggest pump was sticking that pin in for the first time! As for the pain, my understanding is that Prop especially has a small amount of alcohol in it to keep it sterile while stored. Its just suposed to hurt bad the first time (injecting into each cheek) your next shot will hurt half as bad, and next half as bad, and so on down untill it doesn't hurt! Just stay the course and steady the needle! Good Luck!

Its Tuesday evening now and the pain has nearly subsided so I think that I'm going to live. I'll post some pics as I approach the end of the cycle.

Everyone's telling me I look HUGE - thing is, I've been on for what, 8 days and my weight has gone up about 2 pounds and yet everyone seems to think that I'm looking "much bigger". Very wierd. The're not body builders though, just other gym users. Have to admit, I'm looking around the gym and everyone else is starting to look a lot smaller - and pathetic.

Maybe it's the psycological effects of the drugs but I don't seem to be able to tolerate the other non-bb's doing their aimless routines anymore. Like the guy who just beats me to the flat bench and decides to use it a stand between sets for his EZ-bar (loaded to nearly 50lbs), or the fat girl who could really do with doing some cardio, watching TV whist using the pec deck (with one plate and range of motion perscribed for people recovering from torn rotator cuffs) whist I was in the middle of supersetting with dips... I digress.

Next shot is due on Friday (I've decided to do one shot every 7 days now) and I can't wait. I'm a little anxious about how I'm going to get it into my left cheek, as it was hard enough to turn to see the right one. If you guys don't hear from me on Saturday, then you'l know I've screwed it up good and proper!

i find the 18gauge tears the shit out of the stopper on the vial and leaves chunks missing, this worries me about sterility. i use a 21 or 22 gauge to fill it, then switch to a 25g to inject. make sure you rub the hell out of ur ass for a good 3/4 minutes next time, and the next day u will hardly feel it. soon, you wont feel it at all, only pain will be from the propionate ester in the sust. and yes, let some oil run down the pin for lube.
