Did I hit a vein???

This week is the first time when I pulled out the pin from my shoulder, a stream of blood shot out about 5 inches long. I have had it run a bit before, but never shoot out like that. No pain or soreness. Did I hit a vein or something? Anyone...?

The shoulder presents a wierd environment for needles........I only go ass or nothing with pins

Sounds like you had a gusher. You probably passed through a vein , no big deal.

Yeah, you definitely passed through a vein. This is quite common. Just remember to aspirate when the needle is ALL THE WAY IN. This way you are guaranteed NOT to INJECT in a vein.

Same thing happened to me today when I was hitting my quads w/ tren (lovin' the little quad shots, so easy, no one handed twisted yoga shit) but I applied presuure w/ a sock and it stopped. But wouldn't it be an artery he hit? Blood in veins isn't under a lot of pressure, but in arteries or artierioles it is.
