did anyone do anavar only as a first cycle

i did it when i was poor. I was just such a pussy to try real stuff, and told myself i would only do var, so i forked over cash i did not have. lol

here's my experience with it. back in high school about 10 yrs ago. i knew nothing about gear, absolutely nothing! i got them from some guy at school. i got 2 bottles of searle anavar 2.5mg pills. i cycled them up to 8-10 a day if memory serves. now i didn't gain any size at all, didn;t know about the eating, i did get stronger though. the only thing i can say about it is that it proved to me that roid rage does exist. i didn;t even know about roid rage back then but the stuff made me into a madman. now looking back it is the only time i ever got that roid rage, even after doing many cycles later at higher dosages. so i dunno why? btw, at the time i also did not know what a cycle was. i really did know nothing. wish i knew back then what i know now. wish these boards existed back then.

well your Searle were either fakes or expired since they werent produced since the early 80's.
 
bad cholesterol goes up, is that temporary and the blood
being thinner, I didnt know that to be such a bad thing, I
thought some people took half an asprin a day to achieve
such a thing.
 
I'll post my progress and B/A pics around June 24. I'm doing my first cycle and I'm using nothing but anavar. However my goals are not for size (as it is summer).
Goals are
1) drop the BF% really low (~7.0%)
2) add more strength to my lifts

Sticking to my current diet - TONS of chicken breast, tuna, moderate fats, and plenty of broccoli (and of course creatine to make strength explode). Calories will be kept just below maintenance. Most of my caloric deficit will be created from exercise.

Plan on training 25-50% more, adding more weight and HIIT cardio sessions to my current schema.

Also would like to blow away some of my personal bests.

PB's
Deadlift - 365 lbs
Military Press - 175 lbs X 4 reps
Bench Press - 280 lbs
Squat - 225 lbs X 20 reps (nice and sloooooow)

I've responded extremely well to creatine and 1AD in the past years, so I have nothing but great expectations in terms of strength gains, but only time will tell.

Oh yeah, gonna run 35-40mg ED.
