Where did this stereotype come from...
black people LOVE chicken.
In Inglewood, near USC and the Forum, there is a chicken place on every corner.
Also at the kfc in my hometown, on the soda fountain, there was pepsie and what not, but then there was one tap that had a white label with plain black lettering that said "STRAWBERRY" and EVERY black dude who came in would get that.. I didn't know if it was soda, juice, or what... kinda goes along with the whole kool-aid stereotype..
oh and what about the watermelon one?

I remember seeing a white guy sell watermellons out of the bed of his truck at the local projects here.

fact is, in ghetto areas, I see MORE chicken places.
In the expensive beach areas, there are NO popeyes chicken... in the ghetto areas, there is a lot.
But they have McDonalds in the rich areas.

i think some of you are taking this as a racial thread he simply stated a question.. however he did say some very racial things in a thread i made which was fucked up..
This is probably one of the most ignorant posts ever and does little to stop the bodybuilders are dumb sterotype.
The reason why you see many of those places in neighborhoods like that is because the income is low and the food is really cheap. Healthy, clean food is expensive (as we all know) and will likely not be bought in these neighborhoods. A Popeye's will likely be successful, where as, a Whole Foods or any other health food supermarket will not. It is not about sterotypes, but economics. If you go to a ghetto (black or spanish) or your nearest trailer park, you will likely find a place serving cheap ass food.
