Diabetes and AAS

New member
I have a bud with diabetes controled by diet.
He takes no meds, but wants to do a cycle using Test only.

Will this have any effect on his diabetes?

Thanks,
Mike

It should. I am a diabetic and found some great information about diabetes and how it effects other hormones in the body. For example, if you read the medical insert for any test injectable, it says that it will have an effect on your blood sugar.

I am taking Test E after finding out that in addition to being a diabetic, my own natural Test is low (226). Since taking Test, my blood sugar has been more controllable.

PM me if you want to know more about this as I done extensive research on this matter.

Have him use Glucorell before his meals and he'll be fine. Or he can use Insulow, which is the same product under a different name. He can get Glucorell at the AF Store. For information on Insulow go to Insulow.com

I'm sure these products could benefit him, but he controlled it by reducing his bulk and monitoring his diet. Today his glucose reading is about 5% above normal and he doesn't watch it often.
He's concerned that AAS could tip the scales.

Is it type I or type II diabetes?

It might, and what I'm saying is that Glucorell/Insulow could level those scales you speak of.

Got it, but do you know what effect the AAS itself will have on diabetes?

depends on the AAS as well as ancillaries.

androgens tend to decrease insulin sensitivity
estrogens tend to increase insulin sensitivity (though decrease it above normal levels levels)
progestins can move it either way, depending on whether its agonistic or antagonistic.

So you guys are saying that certain steroids can send blood suger levels either way high or low depending on content, But these changes are easily controlled and countered by an adjustment in medication yeh ?

for example afew shots of sust isnt gunna smash the suger levels through the roof or floor ?
will just slightly affect the levels in either way ?
I am a type 1 diabetic btw just curious
