DHT Derived Orals and Shutdown

I dont understand why DHT derived orals shut down natural test. DHT isnt part of the HPTA axis right? So what if your body senses more of something that is DHT like? If its looking for estrogen, that should not be affected since it cant aromitise.

I dont think that HPTA axis thing holds its weight, if your body decides to shut down test when estrogen is sensed to be high, than running a strong AI during cycle should prevent any shutdown, but everyone knows that does not work.

Maybe I just dont understand it enough.

I'm pretty sure all sex hormones can cause shut down. That includes test, DHT, estrogen, progesterone, prolactin, their derivatives, etc.

DHT and its derivatives, along with EVERY other androgen with ANY AR binding affinity, will bind to the androgen receptor, which is part of the HPTA. deca and tren also bind to the progesterone receptor (no, they dont INCREASE prog, they mimic it) which shuts down that axis too...combine that with an aromatizing steroid like test or bold (or anadrol, via direct binding) and you've shut down (or at least suppressed) everything, which will make recovery a pain.

if you run test with an AI and a non-aromatizing oral (that isnt anadrol), you will only severely suppress the androgen receptor, and recovery should be relatively quick in comparison.

remember proviron has very little AR binding, and a much more pronounced SHBG binding affinity...it will not promote a great deal of suppression (although some is possible, which may be offset by the estrogen reduction it imparts)

I'm in agreement with the other two posts. For the most part, gear that does not aromatize to estrogen is less supressive gram for gram but it is still suppressive.

By activating progesterone receptors, deca and tren increase serum prolactin levels which also reduces testosterone.
