dhea conversion to testosterone

Is anyone making testosterone from dhea?
From what I understand you can take Dehydroepiandrosterone and dehydronate it and you get androstenedione and you introduce oxygen to androstenedione and you get testosterone. If anyone is making it this way I was wondering if it could be eleborated apon

there was a thread about this on here a few months ago. the end product will be about 80-90% pure and will have no ester. too complicated to do at home,

I think it's much easier to send money overseas for test.

I would think legally you would have a better chance making it since dhea is over the counter, but i have no idea. I am interested in exactly how this is done. I read through the posts about it but the directions were probably good enough to follow but not enough for me to go through with it. Does anybody else have details about dhea to test, or where i could find details?
