DF 5x5 Question

Hey, I'm in week 4 of a dual factor 5x5, and I was doin deads w/ 330 for 5x5. That's a big PR for me, and the weight felt very heavy...on the 5th rep of the 5th set I felt my back give out and round pretty bad, kinda scared me... I decided to end the workout there, and save the ohp and pullups for tommorow (thurs) Will that fuck up the program at all ?

Also, do most of you wear a belt on heavy deads? I'm starting to think I should.

I don't see a problem with waiting nn the ohp/pullups. The way I worked around the problem you're having is by doing ohp and pullups first -- heavy deads are so draining that I'm pretty much worthless after tehm.

As far as the belt goes, I think you have the right idea. Don't use it unless you need to, but if you need to, then definitely use it :p

Make sure you're doing your ab stuff, as weak abs can cause a rounded back.

Also, what is your training experience/stats? I ask because typically 330 for 5 on deads is attainable without DF (I don't mean that as an insult -- I'm just trying to see if there may be a way to get faster gains).

been training a few years now,
6'0
185lbs
dead 335x5
squat 215x5
bench 205x5
clean 205x2
pushpress 185x5

Yeah, ive thought about just doing the single factor, but ive done the dual factor in the past and it worked well, and it's working well this time, but maybe after this cycle i'll switch to sf
