Dextrose/Malto...WHY...YUCK...72g of Sugar

I used Pintoca's cutting calculator. According to the calculator, I needed 72g of protein and 72g of Carbs split between dextrose and malto.

Thats great in theory. But sucks BUTT in application....

That was terrible and now I have the high speed wobbles from all of the sugar...

How necessary is this...

Do you use this when cutting...

I know its a familar question and opinions are polarized...

But that was truly awful...
 
Seems like quite a large post-workout shake for cutting in my opinion.

I like the 1:1 ratio but would go with 45/45 respectively.
 
My current cutting PWO shake consists of 46g protien, 23g blend of malto/dextrose.. Just because I am trying to watch my carb intake. I usually do 1:1 ratio.

It works for me and for many others, but that does not necesseraly means it will work for you. Experiment. You are a BIG dude, for that reason there's so much dex/malto in the formula.

If it's too sweet (I bet it is), try adding MORE water. I do mine in one liter, and it's nowhere close to 72grs, mine is 50grs.

You could try Ghesed suggestion and go with real food afterwards as well if you cannot pass the sweetness.

Me? I actually, somedays, look forward to that sweet taste.

Drink it slowly too, so you don't crash against the wall
 
I tried it again tonight...

Getting a little more use to it...
