just know that most sports drinks also contain a lot of fructose. And they usually only list how much carbohydrates are in it and don't break down how much glucose, how much fructose etc.
Not sure about Powerade but I know this is true of Gatorade and CarboFuel.
I have been using Carbo Rush...here are the stats:

I use this because it was the only thing I could find near my house. I got it from the "Vitamin Shoppe"
But I am planning on buying some dextrose from supplementdirect.
Note: it says complex carbs but maltodextrin has a GI value of 100.
