Dex in PWO shakes

Kinda newbie q. I keep reading about how putting dextrose in a pwo shake does a body good. Do they make tablets that you can just put in it and where can i get some?

also, what are your opinions of a protein bar pw? i know they are digested slower but they do have around 32g of carbs.

In a pinch, I use glucose tablets you can buy at most any drug store in the diabetic section. Pure dextrose, 4 gr. per. Much cheaper to buy the powder.

$5 shipping for 15 lbs worth of dextrose and maltodextrin!!!!

tough to beat that. $24 and I am set until April!
