Developing my lower lats..

HOW? lol. I have a pretty wide lat spread, but it like connects around my obliques instead of going all the way down. How would i bring it all the way down?
 
Alter your genetics. Or, I think the generally accepted way to hit them is close grip chins brought low

Agree with thaibox. You cannot 'lenghten' muscle insertions, so if you have 'high' lats, that is what you're stuck with.

Just concentrate on the overall mass builders of chins, barbell rows and deadlifts and what will be will be.

one thing I noticed about Dorian Yates pics, from when he was young to when he was Mr Olympia. His lats become much rounder as they went bigger. in the front DB and Lat spread poses.


You can't change the length of your lats, but if you get em bigger they will fill out and go rounder thus go lower overall in terms of the curve. Ie instead of a wedge shape you get more of curved look as your lats get bigger.
 
there right....... no way to change genetics no matter how big you get.


but......


you can stress this area more by doing chinups with a V bar and leaning way back and trying to touch the bar to your abs.

or the samething with the cable pulldowns.

Exodus is wise...insertions and porigins do not change.....but - lower lats can be brought out
 
haha, a question i was wondering about was answered without me even asking it. Im not sure how accurate it is. My lats are pretty wide, and they have just started to slightly round. I dont know how much more they will round out, im hoping a lot more.
