Interesting, how bout you tell me who had the best second half of the season. This isn't just hot streak.
Or how bout 2 of the top five players in scoring: Nasland and Bertuzzi, not to mention Bertuzzi missed 10 games.
The Canucks are playing awesome hockey as of late and the Wings are playing like corrugated iron pilons.
II hope that every person on the Detroit line up has the same mindset as you as you will absorb the full shock of receiving an early trip to the golf course when your hockey powerhouse is washed up like a bunch of oil filled seagulls from an oil spill.

Yea it was a lucky fluke goal, but Detroit still would have won the game anyway. If Bertuzzi could have done something on the penalty shot instead of a weak original five hole wrister, maybe it would have changed the game.
This is turning out to be a hell of a series. You would have to think the pressure is on the Nucks now though.

Yeah it is a hell of a series. I am not sure i would not say the pressure is on the Canucks, but heck, i am sure the load is feeling a little lighter for the Wings.
Main things that will decide the outcome in my opinion,
1.) Goaltending(Cloutier v. Hasek)
2.) Yzerman(his knee)
3.) Tempo ( can the young guys out run the old guys, can they both keep it up?)
Lots more factors i am sure.

I'll admit the Canucks are playing great hockey, but this is not going to help them at all!
Another point to make is how the "senior" players often are held in higher regard in the officiating asspect. A perfect example is if someone delivers a "rough" hit on Lemieux. More often than not, they will get a penalty. If the same check is given to some like Domi or Simon, the penalty may not be called.
We can sit here and pick apart the game all we want, but every sport has its problems, hockey is no different. It's still the greatest game on Earth.

Thats because they're playing the game all wrong. You can tell they're mostly in it to damage our team, instead of having their fucking caNAHdian heads on straight! Do you see how many times they start shit? Oh, especially going for Yzerman, a strong yet weak point of the team............one hit the wrong way and he's done. The damn Canucks need to come up with another strategy other than "You go for him, I'll get him, and you knock that one."
2 instances that pissed me off the other night, both early in the game :
1) Canucks damn goalie (excuse me, I'm not familiar with names) went down to save the puck and seen one of our guys coming so he stuck his stick out to trip him. The ref seen it and gave shithead a warning.........
2) Some Canuck idiot was by our goal and we ended up with a penalty cause he acted like he was whiplashed by one of our players............the fall was dramatic.......I give him a 10!!
