Cadillac unveiled a concept vehicle that, if produced, would be one of the biggest, most powerful Caddies ever. The Cadillac Sixteen concept vehicle features a V-16 engine producing 1,000 horsepower.
The motor is surprisingly lightweight for its size, and, as a nod to environmentalists, the engine would use just four or six of its 16 cylinders when highway cruising to save fuel. It would burn regular gas, too. GM says it hasn't decided whether to push for production, but it's being encouraged by GM engineers looking to put Cadillac into the super-luxury category with Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce and Bentley.
