Well, it's the opposite for me. When I take test, I feel a very mild euphoria. Not goofy, just in a good mood. Like whatever happens will be okay in the end. I am a very intense individual, and am prone to outbursts (and have been since I was 3, along with my grandfather, and my dad, and I was told this is a common trait within the men of my family). When on test, I do not have outbursts as frequently, and when I do, I can control them much easier than off. Also, I have never taken huge doses of test either, so I doubt I have had any aromatizing problems.
I also have read that depressed males typically have lowered levels of testosterone. *Note, this is just my opinion, and is in no way backed up by any research* I would think that most men who suffer from mild depression could benefit from test therapy. Not huge doses, but a weekly dose, like 100-250mg/week. Past that, you would run the risk of estrogen conversion which would negatively effect the depression.
Just to reiterate, most of the above is just my opinion. I would appreciate feedback and see what others have experienced.
