Demerol is Highly addictive, bro. Stay away from that shit if at
all possible. I have the same problem as you. I suffer from
insomnia regularly. I usually alternate btwn unisoms and valiums.
Demerol is an opiate, like codeine/morphine. I am no stranger to
opiates. Very easy to get a dependence on it.
I posted a thread on this very same subject. You could try using

Forget Demerol for sleep. Check out Ambien--excellent for sleep.

Ambien (zolpidem tartrate), is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic of the imidazopyridine class and is available in 5-mg and 10-mg strength tablets for oral administration.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE
Ambien (zolpidem tartrate) is indicated for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Ambien has been shown to decrease sleep latency and increase the duration of sleep for up to 35 days in controlled clinical studies (see Clinical Pharmacology : Controlled trials supporting safety and efficacy ).
Hypnotics should generally be limited to 7 to 10 days of use, and reevaluation of the patient is recommended if they are to be taken for more than 2 to 3 weeks. Ambien should not be prescribed in quantities exceeding a 1-month supply (see Warnings ).

I wouldn't use demoral..you feel all dopie the next morning. I just went to my dr. and told him i was having trouble sleeping, he presribed somthing called, Sonoma, or Soma, dont rember the exact name, but it worked great, not habit formimg and you feel fine the next morning..

the best sleep product I have ever used is Renewtrient 2. You can buy it online at www.renewtrient.com. It is expensive but well worth the price if you want to sleep!
