Hopefully the Afghans are fresh out of all of those Stinger missiles we gave them to help defeat the Soviets back in the early eighties.

We should also benefit from Russian intelligence and lessons learned.

My guess is that we will help mobilize and motivate/arm an opposition force like the Contras and arm them to the teeth and provide advisor teams.

From someone who has sorta been around the Special Op's community...*wink*, what is going on is selecting targets of opportunity....in other words marking things for destruction....

The second thing going on is cutting off aves. of escape....meaning, once the missels start hitting, those who we are looking for will be funneled through an escape route....this type tactic was also used in Panama....works nicely....

I would venture to say, these funnels extend to many, many countries...not just Afgan.

And lastly, I seriously doubt Bin Laden will ever see capture....sucide, or his own people will be his ultimate demise, the body will be utterly destroyed ensuring his martyr-dom forever....This would elevate him to the ultimate....everyone would be left to wonder, where he is, and what's next....

I personally hope I'm wrong and he suffers like a muther fucker....And please remember, with the exception of Desert One, how many times has any Special Op's unit failed in a mission.....They are very good simply because everything is thought out, and they work together like a well oiled machine....
