Delt Pain

Injection question guys:

Shot 1cc of 200mg EQ on Sunday into my delt. Usually NEVER have any pain or a prob but it's sore as hell still today. Trouble doing a lat raise w/out any weight.

Here's the details:

-The shot was rushed - usually inject slow and steady, this was very quick
-Went a bit high on the delt... felt a slight pinch/muscle twitch as the needle went in
- Didn't bleed after removing the pin any more then usual
- Did not massage the area for very long.
- The injection sight is noticlby swolen (oval area that resembles a delt stridration) and some of the surrounding tissue is blotchy pink.
-It was a brand new bottle of QV EQ and yes, I know it's legit.

I think it's just some trama to the area. There could have been some pin movement during the injection which inflamed the surrounding tissue.

Any thoughts?

I got that almost every time I injected fina into my delt... little painful "egg" would show up then dissipate after a couple days... i would not worry yet... if it gets hot, swollen or purple in a couple days I would get worried... but youve been here a while so you probably already know that.

Thx Pats fan. You hit it right on the head. It's an egg type of swelling. My delts are a good size so usually I never have a prob but this time was different.
