delt injection

Is 1.5 cc's cool in the delt or should you not go over 1?

1/2" sub-q rather thin there. no need for larger.

I stick about 1" into the delt. Probably a little deaper than normal but works good for me.

Thanks for all the help. Yeah usually only about 1/2" deep but i was just curious about how many cc's you could go safely and i got some good respones. thanks again.

1 inch needle works great.... I have done up to 3cc's in the shoulder, but if you are gonna shoot this much, make sure you rub the shit out of your shoulder after you shoot it..... I had an abcess once in my delt from some Bunk Test years ago.... My entire arm got this rash growing down it, and felt very hot to the touch.... Had to go to the ER, and some IV anti-biotics, then I was fine..... However, many shoot up to 3cc's in the delt with no prob... Rubbing vigoursly is always reccomended post shooting to spread the oil out a bit, for better absorbtion.....

LOL>>> I told them that I shot some B-12.... The doc just kinda rolled his eyes, and treated me... Prob knew I was bullshitting, but hey, I didn't care, I just wanted my arm better.... I work in a hospital too, so that kinda helped me know that it doesn't matter what you say to them, they have to treat you.... Yeah, you don't wanna seem like a weirdo, but if you need medical help, you need medical help....
