Dell Jukebox or iPOD?

I used to hate iPods because everyone had one...
I ended up getting an "iRiver", and it was cool..
however, a few weeks ago, my bro got an iPod mini, and I'm jealous. That thing kicks ass. Of course, it depend what KIND of player you're looking for (Flash, Hard Drive, Etc.)

I'd definately go iPod (mini if you want) then. According to Cnet, Dell is a 7.7, while iPod is 9.0. You might also want to check iRiver, they put out some good hutsba.
I want the mini ipod too (the purty green one).....went about a month ago and bought the ipod shuffle...THE greatest thing ever for gyming it up. Holds 240 songs and doesn't get in the way. (just my opinion)

That would be cool rollerbading and when I have to take the Jitney into the city and get stuck for hours at a time.

Yes ma'am...it's the easiest thing in the world. It comes with the itunes software and all that good stuff. If you have music on ur pc already all ya hafta do is click and drag....and viola!velvett said:

Hey Velvett, I'll sell you my Dell Pocket DJ for 75 bucks, its a 5 gig mp3 player.
I got it for renewing my lease here at this apt complex, everything is brand new - I've only used it like 3 times - It would come in all original packaging, software, etc. Its smaller than the comparable Ipod too.
but you might be looking for more storage?

I think Ipod's been around longer, but it's hard to say what's actually better. It does seem that Ipod moves more units...in fact I haven't even heard of Dell's version until now.

dakotah and i each have a dell dj 20 gb. they're both 1 yr old and never a lick of problems. they are a bit heavy, but have a great battery life 20+hrs. can also use it as a back up hard drive. we both upgraded our headphones as the dell ones, at least then, sucked. i would buy it again if i had to do it over. ipods look a bit cooler tho and i have never actually used one

Not "a little", "A LOT" bulkier. I tried this thing out, and it's thick as hell, definately too big to hold comfortably in any pocket.

I just got the Ipod 60gb photo, its slighty heavier/larger than the others but still rides comfortably in the pocket> photo option is very cool as well, connects directly to my digital camera for photo storage/display
