Deer Meat?

orca

New member
I am looking for ways on how to cook it, a friend brought over a ton of meat and I figued that some one here might know some good recipes. Also I hear that it is very lean but how does it compare to other meats, protein wise.

thanks

I eat a lot of deer meat. I like it in burger. Brown it, pour off what little fat there is use it in chilli, mix with brown rice and salsa anywhere you would use hamburger!
