Deck restoration Business - Would it Work?

Depends on how many companies are doing it in your area. How big of a city you live in, and how far out you’d be willing to drive to get business.

Pretty simple deal though, basically it be just replacing rotten/broken lumber, hammering nails/screws in, and then using a deck cleaning solution that brightens the wood, pressure wash the crap out of it, then spray a sealer on it a few hours later.

You might make decent money at it in the spring/summer if you live in a city with a large population, with decks.

but then again it might take a few years to get a name out there unless you're just wanting to do 1 or 2 decks on weekends

I dunno, it's not that hard of a thing to do. My family buckled down and refinished our deck in less than a day - doing basically all the stuff big bad buff described earlier except replacing rotton board cuz there were none.

I could see it making some money....I don't know about a full-time business unless you in florida or cali or something

I'm not tryin to make a career of this. It'd be nice to charge $200-500 for a complete deck restoration, do it a couple times a week.

Most peoples decks are fucked b/c they only use Thompson's anyway...

While the planets and the stars and the moons collapse
When I raise my trigger finger all y’all niggas hit the deck

You could have a free "deck restoration" seminar, then tell people at the end of it that if they didnt feel like doing it, you would be available to do it for them.

Of course there would be TONS of ways of marketing a business like this.
