On Saturday nite, from 8-9pm, I can eat anything I want!! Hmmmmm....

Now if I can only decide.....I've got a big bag of peanut M&Ms & cookie dough in the freezer...... Cheeseburger or steak?
 
Jen, keep it clean. If you load on that fat & shit you will pay for it. I don't really see the point of that cheat, but just keep it clean. If you load up salt & shit, its going to take you a while to clear that out. Just saying keep it clean.

lil over two weeks... is it worth it..? Honestly think about it.

Is this something that the trainer has suggested? Did you ask him why? what it would do for you/against you? You aren't depleting so hard that your body has to have a huge refeed so thats why I am stumped as to this decision. Its giving you the opportunity to take a leap back in your progress and IMO that is just asinine.

Are you within one week of what you want to be comp date... IE all you need to do is Water deplete? If not.. then why further your progress for 5 minutes of satisfaction.

Im not trying to make you feel bad.. just saying think about it.. the money you put into this, the time, the work, and then decide if that one day of cheats two weeks pre comp is worth the set back it may cause.
 
He seems to think that due to the hard diet over the next couple of weeks that I *should* have this cheat meal.....

I dunno -- honestly compared to stuff I've been thru, your diet is not all that hard and I think throwing shit in there now is just gonna bog down your metabolism. I just don't see the point. I've never heard of this approach before and I just don't see the point.

Jens huney I have to agree with Frisky and Sassy, I don't understand why he would what you to jeopardize all that you worked so hard for. Your body is no longer "used to" that cheat meal, and you will bloat up from it, and then have to fight to get that excess water off.

Personally I would not do it.

All I can say is do what you feel. You have seen all of our logs not to say that what we did was 'right' but i can't see the logic in a cheat meal right before comp.. not this close.

All we are here doing is trying to help through experience.. thats all. Not one of us want to give you bad advice.

I'm gonna step off the soap box now too.

Oh I know you all are just trying to help!! I be feelin' the love....

I'm just afraid to deviate from the exact plan for tracking purposes.....since he said to eat "whatever" then for proper tracking per Fred shouldn't I follow it?? But if it'll take 1 week to shed all the water then now I'm not sure....He's having me add in Dandelion root later next week too....




Plus I bought a big bag of M&Ms..... :p

All i can say is your choice of whatever could be anything... as sassy said it could also be a clean food.

sweet potato for instance... i understand wanting to follow his word to a tee... If you feel it will work then so be it. I just don't think there is any logic in his saying 'anything'

if it gets you to where you are comfortable.. if you are at your goal now and you feel this will help then I honestly don't know what to imput.

gonna leave you with one thing though...

M&M's or ABS you have to make a choice.. no one can make it for you.

I would substitute the candy & dough for a shot of tequilla (maybe a shot & a beer chaser!!)

Your chance to eat "whatever" --- yes this is your chance to make a common sense decision based on all that you've learned from our collective experiences, your time on this board and in support of all the work you've done so far.

agree. Jens- you post on here alot about the hard work your doing & busting your ass to get contest ready & then you want advice on blowing your diet???

Not to be mean, but are you really surprised that you not getting alot of support on this??? I would listen to these gals that have ALOT of competition experience & save the cheats till after your contest.

OK.. end of lecture!! LOL.

Of course you got excited... but save that excitement for after the show.. I promise it will be well worth the wait.

I'd steer clear of the ANPB also.

My big treat was twice a week... it consisted of 1/4 steelcut oats with splenda and cinnamon, 6oz sweet potato with splenda and cinnamon.

that stopped one week out.. the splenda stopped before that... i just would have the cinnamon.

Its only two weeks... TWO WEEKS.

Its all up to you Jen's... you have to decided just how tight you want to keep it. How bad you want it.

I had my post meal planned two weeks ahead.. It gave me something to look forward to.

I guess I'll just eat what's on my list.....and I'll paint the kitchen to keep my mind distracted.... :verygood:

are you eating the oats for your carb up?

:lmao: me too, I had even bought a bag of hershey kisses 2 weeks before and keep telling myself as soon as I'm off that stage those babies are all mine. That kept me focused knowing I could have them in 2 weeks.

Girl you can do this, save the M&Ms for after the show, it's going to get much harder from here, but the minute your on that stage and you realize that you accomplished your goal it will all be worth it. And then go and have a party and invite some of your favorite foods. ;)

Now get your ass straight and don't think about cheating until it's all over. :velvett: Only because I :heart: u.
 
I hid the M&Ms in the crisper drawer of the mini fridge where my hubby keeps his beer. I don't go in there.....they will be Pwned in the evening on 8/27!!

Frisk - my diet is diff every day.....Check this: Monday, Tues & Wed my total daily cals are 828 for the day, each day...... :worried: I'm gonna die....

mine were lower than that for the 1st show, your tummy is going to be yelling at you. But you can do it, it's only 3 days :)

oh damn.... thats way low.. wow.

My cals never dropped below 1400 NEVER. I upped my cardio a tad bit.. but i just dropped the carbs and did a very strict rotation.

Yikes!

wern't your cals up in the 1700's? thats like half.

Well I still have to do all this work with that low cals.... :worried:

Today: 1593
Sat/sun: 1502
MOn/Tues/Wed: 828
Thurs: 1631
Fri: 2490
Sat/Sun: 1313
Mon/Tues (8/22 & 23): 828

Why in the world so high on friday? I don't know if he gave you any explination as to his outline but honestly, I'd ask just to find out why.
