deca cycle opinions

Was hoping for some guidance:

I have run cycles in the past with no ill effects. But I was really just a dumb kid without the right knowledge to do things right.... Never did any PCT, but that was because I had no clue about that back then. Deca only cycle (never had any deca d**k issues)

i have been training solid for more than year now in the weight room, but also have been doing mixed martial arts for the past 5yrs

been doing the workouts out of the arnold encyclopedia and following the diet laid out in there as well

my daily diet looks like the following:

approx 3500 - 4000 calories daily

160 g fat
290 g carb
290 g protein

i lift heavy 3 times a week in the morn and do mixed martial arts 5 days a week in the evenings

did this cycle (as listed above) maybe 5 times more than 8yrs ago (between the ages of 20-25).

as i said before i ran this cycle when i was in my early 20's and didn't know sh*t about what i was doing....

advice appreciated
 
1. That diet is 30-40% fat. Why?
2. Consider pct mandatory for all cycles
3. Deca only is not a good idea. do test/deca in a 2:1 ration
4. Long esters taper themselves; no point in doing it manually.

high fat content cause i'm in a bulking phase....

what you think.... shift some calories to protein or carbs?

what are your thoughts on the deca/dbol cycle i found in william llewellyn's "anabolics 2009"

P.S. got to say this is one of the friendliest boards to noobs....

Best gains come around the 2mg per pound of
bodyweight. Stack with some testosterone for
even better gains.
 
u do need to add test to it. why only deca? I'm guessing one of two things. A. its hard for u to get test or B. you consider deca only not to be high on the "feared" androgenic effects?

Deca is very high calorie dependant. And from what you will learn(from which Needto) is to do test with deca. You will appreciate it

B is the correct answer...(also have run deca only in the past with good results)

wanted to go into this cycle armed with knowledge (not just gear like in the past)

from what i hear test is the way to go ... worthwhile to stack the two, or should i fly solo with the test?

never done test before, only combination i tried was deca/dbol with good results
