deca and joints: please give your opinion

I started a npp (75mg EOD) + deca cycle a while ago (4 weeks) at 600 mg/week to try to help me relieve some hip pain (bursitis) that I have been feeling for 3 years (tried therapy, cortisone, time off and got no major improvement, always came back). In week 2 I saw a very slight improvement but then nothing. I am switching to HG deca as I believe the ug deca I bought might have been really underdosed or bunk. I know people always blame gear but I also had shoulder pain and it did nothing to improve that problem either. What would be a normal time for me to experience improvement from my norma deca?

I've used deca and NPP in the past and never experienced the lubed joint feeling. I've had to adapt to the shoulder pain.

Some notice a difference and some don't. My pesonal exp. is it works for me. Every time I run deca my sholder and back give me no probs. As to your question, I usually notice a diff. around 4 weeks and it stays until after the cycle. As it is said everone is different. Good luck

This thread got me thinking, I haven't noticed any shoulder pain in several weeks. I low-sided in T7 at Road Atlanta during a Superbike race and tore my right shoulder all to hell.

Funny thing is I didn't realize the pain was gone until I read this thread! Crazy stuff. I'm on 400mg of deca a week along with 500mg Test Cyp.

definitely makes my joints butter, it even fixed my shoulder that used to pop out of the socket during incline dumbell presses. its never done that again.

I don't think I can say I ever "noticed" a lubrication of the joints or improvement in fluidity, but I can tell you, I always stack Deca with some Winny, and I never noticed the infamous Winny joint pain. Deca > Winny?

Bruce, deja vu', why did you have to bring that up bro, I cannot tell you how many times that has happened to me on that movement/exercise (literally dozens).

I didn't think about it until just now, but that has never happened to me on cycle with Deca, and if Deca helped you with that, maybe me also.......hmmmmmmm

there was a bro who posted evidence of deca strengthening tendons i just don't remember. it was bad for me couldn't go over 45's even though i was much stronger than that but i didn't want to use the bar everytime. i'd try and go heavier bam it would come out. after deca for 12 weeks i never felt that again. it takes 4 weeks for me and then all the clicking of my joints is gone. every excercise i cant even feel the weight moving in my joints

Bro,

Sorry to hear that. I looped my Yamaha R1 2 weekends ago. It is totaled! Always wear your gear when riding. What kind of bike do you ride? I am having bad wrist pains, I may get on some deca to help with the joints in the area.

Deca and winstrol don't actually affect the amount of water "held in a joint." Deca indirectly creates an anti-inflamatory after passing through the liver. Winstrol, on the other hand, suppresses the anti-inflamatory (which is related to an estrogen-like byproduct.)

i had a few hard getoffs, one really bad one that about ruined my leg forever... but i've had shoulder pain from other accidents and i can tell you that deca cured them. i first cycled deca a year ago, and the pain still hasn't come back !

hey bros
to the guys whos used NPP did you notice the same effects, or was the joint lubing not there like when using long acting deca.....peace

I have chronic shoulder problems (impingement)... my deca cycles have definitely made them alot more bearable, sometimes to the point of feeling no pain... but then, being "on" means I'm pushing alot harder too, which puts me in a viscious circle sometimes, aggrevating the problem even more... all in all though, Deca does help
