Debate was a draw but..........

Kerry needs to kick ass in these things.

Halliburton et al have millions and millions to funnel into their repurchase.

I will bet the neocons have spent over $50 trying to buy my vote in Colorado. They are ALL OVER the TV and radio. Breathtaking amounts of money are being spent here.

How about your state?

They both did pretty fair tonight.

Neither one did terrific. Bushes head would be lying on the floor against a truly world calss debater. Kerry touched on weaknesses but failed to lay the hammer down.

Why in the world anybody would want to be president is beyond me. That jobs sucks in almost every respect.

Which is why we don't get good choices.

Kerry is good if you like liberalism. His timing is less than ideal however. He has a hard time convincing people he will kick terrorist ass. Without Nam....he would be out of luck.

I think Bush will prolly win. Oddly.....he didn't bother me that much tonight. I'm too busy to really get involved with these things lately. Stashing money away in case the police state hits big time. I see Bush as far more friendly to a police state. Far more. A hundred times more. At least.

$50. That will buy probably half a second of static on TV dude.

You are one paranoid person. I don't think I have ever know a more miserable person. It's almost as you enjoy it.

Not slamming you because I know we have talked on PM but really, do you really feel these things and if you do, have you ever thought about counseling?

I really want to know.

I think if you feel that way, you should have kept it private. Between him and you.

Dude, that debate was not a draw. Bush spent the entire debate playing defense. The part about importing prescription drugs from Canada alone killed him. He should have just come right out and admitted that he doesn't favor it because of pharmaaceutical company lobbying. Come on, he wants to make sure that drugs from Canada are safe? Any Canadians care to let us know if have any problems with your medicine being safe? I've never read any reports of medicine in Canada being less safe than in the USA. Probably because Canadian medicine comes from the same factories as American medicine.

He was the one who posted about an impending police state and other unusual things he claims to have happened to him on this public board. It's easily found with a simple search.

I don't think my question was harsh or anything of that nature. I was asking why he felt like that.

I said I wasn't slamming him in any way. If he took it that way then he is mistaken.

Well, I would have been offended. You called him paranoid and the most miserable person you know. Not slamming, I like you. But, I think that was wrong.

Your mention of >counseling< based on his opinions was WAY out of line.Your interpretation of what is not 'slamming' is in need of an overhaul mang.

Well, sorry for offending him but it wasn't on purpose.

I have a sister who is exactly like that. Doom and gloom on every subject. If I am physically hurting, she is hurting worse. If I have two black eyes, she has three. If I owe $10,000 to somebody, she owes $20,000. The list goes on.

She enjoys being miserable and she needs to trump everything. It is a sickness and some people enjoy it. I don't know why either.

Maybe it's like an aphrodisiac. I really don't know.

Where is longhorn85 to claim a Bush victory? I guarantee he'd be here if he thought Bush won.

Political correctness to the rescue.

Sorry to step on the fragile toes of the people here.

Didn't know the sensitivity level had escalated so much around here.

Subject dropped.

Moving on.

geez.. people are taking things personal around here.... both humorme and testosterone boy.. i imagined testosterone boys response as more sarcastic... either way, you suggest someone needs counseling, you are fair game to be called an asshole.

Yeah, we got people dropping like flies up here every time they take a pill

What an idiot, 'Canadian drugs are not safe'. OK, Georgie.

LOL at this thread. "counseling" is a bad word, no? Test boy suffers from a terrible calamity, rarely cured and often un-treated for life. Any type of treatment, wether it be street drugs, legal drugs, or even counseling, will often fail. This terrible calamity is brought many a strong man to his knees: delusions of granduer.
