Kerry was very strong IMO. laid his answer out very well, very concisely (that he voted against it, but for the reasons it didnt make provisions for medical grounds or that it forced notification of parents in cases of incest). he also stated he decided this independantly of his views as a stout catholic
bush's response was effectivly 'at the end of the day you are either for Partial birth abortions or against it, and he didnt vote for the ban'. He then made a purely emotional arguement and didnt address Kerry's points directly
Kerry won that point hands down IMO.
