it's a no win situation. i've been going thru this med switching bullshit for 6 months. nothing has worked. this stuff comes the closest. but it's hard to deal with.....

I know. My man takes:
Abilify, Lamictal, ativan, adderoll(sp?) and a couple others..... and he's a cop(lol). He's still not having any luck with the mood thing. Getting closer but no dice.

Actually, they do. I don't know how much u think they should be ABLE to do.... considering all of the peeps in charge like the bad cops. But the little guys..the good guys-- they stand up for what's right.

idk. and ambulance drivers drive drunk and steal jewelry off corpses. so much for the hero factor. everyone is a criminal. i'm just speaking from personal experience. things that happened to me, i've never needed a cop or have been helped by one. i've had cops "friends" offer to plant evidence on people for me, good folk there.....

When u ignore the FACT that some are good.....u make it like they aren't there....trying every day.... to work against the bad. U help the bad by not believing in the good. Then what are they fighting for? U. U. U. That's who. But u don't care or know they are there. That's why there are so few good cops. They fight against other bad cops AND the ones who believe they aren't there.... trying to do the right thing. That's u. And u are the peeps they are trying to help. It's a thankless job for the few good ones.

I've been kicked, people spit on me, puke on me, throw stuff at me, pull knives on me.... I have NEVER taken anything from anyone. I don't steal from dead people. I appologize to their families because I couldn't do more. Sounds to me like u watch 2many movies....

i live in Detroit, trick. being an EMT is like working at Burger King. you act like there is some uber high standard in being one. lol @ that. my old roomate was an EMT, they had booze in their rig 24/7. and used to joke about how they'd compress peoples chests until they were jelly. sounds like you work in the burbs.....

Yea, so I guess we are all that way. And as far as I know, u gotta be a medic to decompress a chest. I don't know how they do it in Detroit but around here..... that extra 2 years of school is required. And as far as the burger king thing..... that would suck. My job is a lot more fun and not close to THAT gross. I will take blood and guts over a greasy work place any day. Plus, Burger King probably requires some type of customer service. If someone pisses me off, I tell them to go to hell. Working at Burger King would be a lot harder than what I do.
And high standard? That's meant to be a joke, right? Geeez. I sure do hope so or u have not been paying attention.

Oh, everyone just drop it. My comment about meds had nothing to do with HT's real life. It was merely hyperbole that he was talking like a crazy person. Meaning that only a crazy person could rag on paramedics as a profession. It offended him, so let's let this thread slide off the page and go the way of thread heaven before things get too nasty.
