Anyone use? Think it hits the legs or back more? Str8 leg deads, more back or more legs? Dbell rows or Str8 bar row preference? This is my thought for today............DEADS 2 WARMS, 10,8,8,6,6,4
Str8 Bar ROWS, 4 X 8-10
LOW GRIP PULLEY X 3, 810
HIGH PULLY 2X8-10
Weighted gluteham raise x 3

On slate for today, anyone use the hex. bar for deads? Difference? More compact motion, i.e. more back stimulation?

I've always said that I felt that it is near worthless in building a big deadlift.

using the hex bar is not doing a deadlift. completely different lift.

Str8 Leg Deads <-- i assume that you mean stiff leg deads (SLDL), more for the hams.

bar vs. db...rows are rows. which ever you like more.

I'm not a powerlifter either...lol.

I just do not feel like it puts me in a comfortable position. If I wanted to squat, I'd squat. If I wanted to deadlift...I'd deadlift. It seems like it is basically making the squat and deadlift into a "machine" like movement. For me anyway.

Its a good tool for getting your traps big:

Do a deadlift and shrug and hold for 5 seconds (or whatever) and then lower - repeat ad nausium...
