Warmed up, then pulled 365, very easy. My last max was 385, so I went right up to...
405! 1 attempt, no problem. missed it 6 weeks ago, I've been workin rack pulls at 405/500/550 from knees. They really paid off!!

Now I need to start goodmornings, & put SLDLs back in. I'll get 425 by the end of the year. No wait, make that by the end of November!

405 squat is coming up next! I WILL conquer it!

Oh. For some reason when I saw the avatar and read SGM I started sitting up straight in my chair :). Glad to see you came back strong from the squat issue the other day.
 
The sergeant majors I ran across always had a stare that could scare a gorilla into submission. It looks like you've mastered that stare.

After today, 405 is scared of me. I just need to get the goodmornings and SLDLs to work up my weak points.

People have often thought I was intimidating. I'm such a nice, laid back guy, I don't see it much.



Of course, I do have that "instant-on" Drill sergeant switch that I can turn on a ANY time!!!
 
nice, nothing like a new pr...I havent had one since I hit 600, time to make some more I guess

225lbs, 45lbs up from show day. Still holding too much water but I have gained crazy thickness throughout my body too, and strength is coming back crazy fast

Not even close. I'm the only one I've seen deadlift, though.

They've had a couple of bench comps here, but I'm not even close to being in the running. Had several guys go over 400.

I've heard there's a 19 year old kid squatting over 500 at another gym, & one of my guys up north is a genetic freak, I heard he's squatting over 600, but I haven't seen him in a while.

But the longer I'm here, the stronger I get!

It felt much better than my previous pull at 385. I think the side stance squats are helping me come out of the bottom on the deads. I still pull conventional, but I'm feeling more hip & ham help. My failed attempt at 405 before (Aug) died about 4-5 inches off the floor.

Yes it will Beastmaster, yes, it will. Conquering 405 crashed a major mental barrier.

Awesome brother! Go in there and kill that shit. Blast that shit out like its life and death!! 315 will be yours in no time!! After breaking 400 everythings gonna feel light!! I wanna see you crush some PR's! Especially tommorow! Whats your goal for tommorrow?
 
Today I mean, hehe my scheds all twisted, Just like I like it though.
I wanna see you crush 280 today bro. Go in there, dont expend too much energy on the warm-up sets, and when you feel fucking insane, go under that bar, grip it tight bring it down slow at first, then accelerate and blast it back up like an explosion. Like a fucking rubber band. Take some caffiene/ephedrine if you can. Whatever it takes! Everyone is busting my ass now to get 405 by december, and Im thinking fuck this is going to be tough. But Im gonna give it my best to get there. Its all mental! I can attest to this cuz when my partner put his fingers under the bar (2 fingers on each side) I put up 425. Then sometimes without the assistance I freak just enough to lose it at that "exact" moment. If you can get fucking insane, fearless nothing can stop you! Will be looking for a New PR post from you today! Slaughter that shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
