REALLY didn't want to train today, so I stripped back this workout to the bare essentials. Wendy and I spent the afternoon with my five-year old cousin. She's an absolute delight and we had the best time. If I had the energy she did, I would be lifting all day... lol... Hats off to all you parents who manage to do everything you do! Very tiring keeping up with her, especially since she was so excited that we were visiting (counting down the hours and minutes, lucky we weren't late
). Anyway, here's how today went...
Speed Bench
165 x 3 x 6 sets
Push Press
138 x 3 x 6 sets
Hang Snatch
132 x 2 x 2 sets
Snatch-grip Behind the Neck Presses
90 x 10 x 2 sets
Pullups
BW x 5 x 2 sets
That's it. Only 45 minutes worth. Need to be fresh for my ME days on the weekend, and I was damn tired to begin with.
GREAT speed on the benches. Since my technique is improving each time, my leg drive is really starting to kick-in. Devastation, when you gave bignate the tip to make a > shape with your legs under the bench, that made all the difference. Hopefully this translates into some bigger ME numbers.
Starting to feel a lot thicker too, and oddly more vascular despite abdominal "compensation"
Weighed in at 190 and 191 the past two days. Hammer said I'll hit 200 in three weeks. I gain fairly decently, but that's not going to happen bro
