I did several sets of inclines...this was my last set of 3...

Did some barbell rows...5 sets of 3 with 30 seconds rest between sets. Moderate/narrow grip...

but i have a question........ why do you do the db powercleans that way instead of leaving your palms forward like with a barbell???

Did you watch all three clips? I only did one set...in the same manner as I would a log.

looks like your workouts goin pretty good. everything looks quick. what are the reverse bands for on the board presses?
 
Are the kbell swings prep for the throw for height event?

The form looks good, the one thing I see is that you could get a little more from your hips and hamstrings. When the weight is swinging through your legs try a little more knee bend and relax your body as much as possible. This will allow the weight to swing farther back, stretching the hamstrings more and saving all your power for the explosive ballistic portion. In movements that require a maximum power output, like the pull and catch in an oly lift or throwing the discus, staying tight is a hinderance. Muscles can contract with a much greater power output when the are relaxed. This is something I stuggle with but relaxation and timing are more important that absolute strength.

Are you allowed to double dip on the OHP in competition? I thought I saw a little jerk in there.

Do the db cleans help your rotators take the abuse of heavy cleans? How often do you mix them in?

You can double dip on the viking at a lot of am shows (except clint's... grrrr)

Pros can't on the viking though.

Jerk/Double Dipping has never been allowed in any major contest for the Viking Press. One guy has decided to allow the jerk on the Viking Press at his contest, and he just also happens to be promoting Nationals, and everyone seems to think that it should be the rule now...lol.

The dbell cleans help strengthen the entire shoulder region, helps with cleans, stronger rotator cuffs, and prefents injuries.
