david boston's pipes!!

david boston was trained by charles poliquin and i suggest you guy's read up on some of his training principles as well as his nutritional info

have read alot of it...a little out there for me but if you have the dedication he sounds like a very good trainer

that guys horse shit if he expects people to believe he's not on juice! 40 pounds of lean muscle in the off season???? i don't think so!

Most of the NFL players juice and few are as muscular and cut like David Boston. He trained very hard and it paid off. There is no question he is juicing.

Side note:

I would teach that guy how to block and make him a Tight End. Urlacher is the only linebacker who can keep up with him. He would be better than Sharp, who also juices and trains hard.

Few NFL athletes are as muscular and cut? You must be talking about the Detroit Lions or something cuz the rest of the backs (RB, FB, DB, LB, WR) are for the most part muscular and cut. They have to be. With all the conditioning on and off season it's tough not to be. Of course you have your Jerome Bettis's too. I'm not saying that everyone is as cut as Shannon Sharpe or Curtis Martin, but they look good.

Just a side note, although Joey Galloway isn't huge, that bitch is strong as a MF! Most of his strength is in his legs though.

This was on Charles Poliquin's(Davis Boston's Trainer) web site,
I really like the first two lines ;)

Because of David’s nervous system, I needed to change his program more often than other elite athletes. He adapts about 50% faster than any Olympic athlete I have worked with.He went from a bodyweight of 209 lbs at 9.8 % bodyfat to 233 at 4 % last summer while running a 4.27 40 yard dash. He benched 425 lbs in camp, which was the 5th highest bench press of the Arizona Cardinals.- as a wide receiver !!!My colleagues in the NFL
reckons that he is probably the strongest wide receiver in the league ever to play the game. Mike Ditka told David Boston that he is the best physical specimen he has ever seen.

This is funny too :lmao:

Changes in his dietary approach had a lot to do with his success. Plenty of fish oils went into that body!!!. Variations in the protein sources was also critical. He ate more ostrich, buffalo etc...Managing cortisol and insulin are the keys to lean tissue gain and adipose tissue loss.

WTF, Ostrich, Buffalo hahahaha. YA PLENTY OF OILS went into his
body but I'm not sure then were oils from fish

I shudder to think what might happen to me if Poliquin trained me (even if I was taking the same amount of gear as Boston).

That guy obviously works very hard but he must have some pretty serious genetics going for him to stand out from the crowd even in the NFL, where most of the players have great genetics for speed and strength.

Sharpe and Boston are not that dissimilar, but it seems as if Boston may be faster. One questions whether big players like Owens and Boston can be stars in the league long term. There have been other large receivers who have fizzled out while 190 lb Jerry Rice just keeps on going and going.

Similarly, lean defensive ends like Jason Taylor and Jevon Kearse are impressive at first, but at the end of the day it's Warren Sapp who is still getting the job done. The best bodies don't always win.
