go for it if you want but you are never fully accepted as family by the other persons family members. You will always be the outsider. I think it's natural for us to want to be with our own race, thats why we naturally congregate that way.

Dated a Guyanese girl for about nine months. And it's true, her family didn't really accept the whole deal and I never felt comfortable around them. Plus she turned out to be insane.

Her Dad still treated her like a little kid even though she was 28 and had an MBA. Weird family dynamic.

True..My GF is half Hispanic half Croatian with the (obviously)Hispanic side of her family being over here.
